The GREEN SCENE
The GREEN SCENE is an Art and Film Festival on Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Terlingua Community Garden. It's also a celebration of independent living Terlingua-Style.
This event showcases the resourcefulness and creativity of the people in our region. We present a festival which espouses methods of sustainable and independent living. We encourage people to empower themselves by raising their own food, building with materials at hand, and supporting positive local programs. Join us for a day full of spectacular Art and Live Music.
There will be information and demonstrations of sustainable building methods, solar power, recycling, rain catchment and more.
BYOB (bottle) - To promote zero waste, this year's Green Scene will provide drinking water if you provide your own bottle. This is a GREEN Event, no Styrofoam please.
So for a good time and a true Terlingua experience, come to the Ghostown Saturday April 7, 2012 at the Terlingua Community Garden. The fun begins at 11 a.m. and continues well into the starry night.
